To enhance the quality of student feedback while saving faculty time, a project using the Waypoint building block has been implemented in Business, Computing and Conservation Sciences. Academics create and use online criteria to mark assignments. Individual comments may be added and grades automatically uploaded to the Grade Center. Feedback and analysis of results in easily facilitated with faculty and student evaluation being positive.

To enhance the student learning experience Bournemouth University (BU) surveys all undergraduates on every course. This Student Unit Evaluation (SUE) was undertaken online for a year using the Blackboard survey tool. From January 2009 the Waypoint building block is being used instead.
