      Title:
What are your resolutions for 2009?
      Content:

The start of this new year has me reflecting on what I would like to accomplish in 2009.  I started wondering if anyone else had similar resolutions or ideas and would like to work together to achieve them?  So I'll start the conversation, please chime in with your comments, ideas and resolutions of your own.

In 2009 I would like to:

      • Create a more open/transparent process for submitting and reviewing client feedback about our products and processes
      • Enable Blackboard online communities to form, grow and thrive.  I want to better understand what our users groups need and how to better support them.
      • Encourage Community members share ideas, tips & tricks, and templates with one another about all aspects of using, teaching with and managing eLearning technology.
      • See users groups meeting face-to-face and clients networking with one another at BbWorld EMEA in Barcelona, BbWorld'09 in Washington, DC and other Blackboard events around the world.

I'd also like to grow professionally through:

      • Improving my management skills and better mentoring my team members
      • Increasing personal productivity (using Getting Things Done or other tools)
      • Growing my professional network to learn from peers at other institutions and in other industries.

      What about you?

    • Yes! "Create a more open/transparent process for submitting and reviewing client feedback about our products and processes." Glad you've got Aaron & Debi on this (and Jeff Longland lobbying for crowdsourcing!).
