      Position Description:

      SCAD-Savannah seeks qualified applicants for an application support specialist position.  The responsibilities of the position include the day-to-day administration and support of the college's e-learning application; monitoring and ensuring availability of the e-learning software, BlackBoard, implementing software upgrades and patches, and development, enhancement, and integration associated with the software application.

      Experience and Skills Required:

      Qualified candidates will posses a BA or BS with relevant experience. Must have substantial experience with Sun/Solaris Systems Administrator; installing/configuring Apache Web Server and Apache Tomcat; Perl scripting, HTML, JAVA, JAVA Servlets, and SQL. Experience with Oracle, C and/or C++ programming desired.
