Launched at the dL conference in Newport News, VA in March 2009 - METBUG aims to bring DoD Blackboard users together can find out what their peers are doing, learn from others' experience as well as discuss relevant issues such as content development, student management and more. |

Why does METBUG exist?
At our initial meeting at the dL conference, this group of 40 peers or so pulled together why they thought this group would be useful. Here are the challenges DoD Bb users face:
- How to Use Blackboard (effectively)
- How to find Courseware (that can be reused)
- Better communication among DoD users to find out what others are doing
- Finding Resources in one Central Hub
- Testing Software Out
- Tools – let me use the full capability of Blackboard within DoD
- How to navigate through policy & procedure
- Using Building Blocks – how to install? When to do it? What types of courses?
- Justifying my dL system (ROI)
