Scot-BUG

Scottish Blackboard Users' Group

This is a public User Group - Europe  public

Welcome

Scot-BUG was formed in 2008 to bring together the members of Celtic WebCT User Group and users of the Blackboard Classic product range. It is an informal group for anyone interested in e-learning in tertiary education. Whilst the group’s name reflects is geographical location, it welcomes participation from anywhere. Similarly, whilst the common interest within the group is the use of Blackboard software, it is run independently of the company and seeks to consider these applications in the wider contexts of e-learning and the UK education sector.

The group aims to hold a meeting three times per annum; click on the Next Event link above for details of our next meeting. In addition to this website, a mailing list is also maintained to allow members to be kept informed and share news and information. Follow this link for details on how to subscribe (or unsubscribe) from this list.  There is also an RSS feed to the blog on this site.  If you have any suggestions or ideas for activities please contact one of the organisers (see below), especially if you would like to host one of our meetings.
